1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using CanoTools, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must abstain from using our application. We constantly review and update these terms, so we advise you to check them periodically.
2. Description of Service
CanoTools is a suite of browser-based utilities for file manipulation, conversion, development, and general productivity. We offer both a Free Tier with basic capabilities and Premium Tiers (Pro / Lifetime) that unlock advanced functionalities, unlimited constraints, and ad-free priority processing experiences where applicable.
3. Local Architectures & Disclaimer
CanoTools processes files entirely within your web browser environment. Because processing relies on your local device resources (CPU, RAM, Browser API limits), we cannot guarantee that our tools will successfully process abnormally large, complex, or corrupted files. The service is provided "AS IS" and we assume no liability for potential data loss on client operations.
4. Subscriptions, Lifetime Access & Payments
Certain features of CanoTools require a paid subscription or a one-time "Lifetime" purchase.
- Free Trial: We offer a 3-day free trial on our premium plans. This allows you to fully test the capabilities of the application before any charges are made.
- Recurring Subscriptions: Pro memberships are billed in advance on a recurring, periodic basis (such as monthly or yearly). You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future billing through your Stripe billing portal or your user profile.
- Lifetime Access: Represents a one-time payment providing lifelong access to the CanoTools application's premium tools base.
Refund Policy
Because we provide a risk-free 3-day trial period to evaluate the service, all subsequent payments (both recurring and Lifetime) are final and non-refundable. By initiating a paid subscription or a lifetime purchase, you explicitly waive your European 14-day right of withdrawal for digital goods, as the service is delivered and consumed instantly.
5. User Requirements and Constraints
You agree not to use CanoTools for any illegal activities or to process explicitly prohibited or illicit material. While we have no visibility into the files you process locally—thus ensuring your full privacy—you remain solely responsible for the legality and intellectual property of the content you generate or modify.
6. Intellectual Property
The source code, logic, interface design, branding, and original content of CanoTools are intellectual property of Emilio Cano Pérez. They cannot be copied, reproduced, or reverse engineered to create identical cloned services.
7. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Emilio Cano Pérez be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of the service.
